			Meet the Board…..
		    The Board of Directors of CBA/ABATE of North 
			Carolina serves the membership. The thing that makes CBA special is 
			the people involved. The Board of Directors is comprised of members 
			from all over the State who are elected by the membership and serve 
			two year terms. Once you have been a member for two concurrent 
			years, you are eligible to run for a Board position. At this time, 
			all Board members serve as volunteers much like chapter officers.
	        Four times a year, the State Executive Council comes together to 
			make decisions about the business of our organization. The State 
			Executive Council is comprised of chapter officers who represent 
			their own members and bring membership concerns and ideas to the 
			Council. We do encourage ALL members to 
			participate in the various committees and to attend State meetings. 
			We want you to have a voice and understand how the organization 
			works.
            Board members are always available to answer your questions and 
			listen to your concerns and we encourage you to become an active 
			part of what makes us so special…. the people!
